Book Club is Back

We are now getting ready for our Fall Book Club which starts on, September 25, 2018 at 5:00pm-7:00pm, and runs until June 3, 2018. The purpose of our Book Club program is to promote literacy within the youth of the Los Angeles community. Each age group meets once a week to discuss their current book. The discussions are informal with the focal point being the likes and dislikes of that week’s reading and how they can relate to the characters and what they’re experiencing in the book. In addition to reading the book, we will have discussions, do book-related art projects and activities, field trips, Skype with the authors (if available), and have lots of fun!!
