Seeking Outreach/Recruitment Volunteers or Community Engagement Volunteers

Our nonprofit foundation is seeking 2-3 individuals who love to talk with people and are enthusiastic about promoting our programs: our weekly book club and our summer film camp.
We are currently seeking outreach and recruitment leaders to locate and sign up middle school and high school students for our 2018 Film Camp, which will take place this summer.

Duties:
These individuals will visit local schools and community centers to talk to families about the programs we provide for children as well as the benefits of attending film camp (lessons on community engagement, video production, camera, editing, etc.), and have potential members people sign up for information or fill out applications if they are interested.

Interested volunteers should have:
Public speaking experience and/or marketing experience, we want you to sell our programs. The ability to promote our film camp in various settings/environments. Interest in media and arts as related to education and a desire to engage diverse audiences and bring information to our community.
Patience, and love working with the public.

Please send your resume, or if you need more information to:

Note: This is a Volunteer Position. We would love for you to go out and do outreach/recruitment twice a month, but we are flexible on this.

  1. That sounds like an interesting opportunity for someone like me. I’m a college student so volunteering is a great way to gain experience and skills that I’ll need later in life. Communication is, of course, very important. I hope I won’t be too late with my resume and that I’ll get a chance to volunteer for you either on these projects or something else. Personally, I’m really interested in the book club.
